Grooming and well-being...
I am Sophie Bell, business owner and Senior Vet at Animal Love in Salisbury. Having worked as a vet for several years, I have come to realise if we focus on our pets preventative and well-being needs they become happier, and less likely to need medical attention.
With a genuine passion for animals I started Animal Love to help owners to help their pets. All services offered are carried out by, or under the guidance, of a fully qualified and experienced vet which makes us unique.
We don’t just treat, we educate!
Currently we offer grooming performed by a City and Guilds groomer from a parlour near Salisbury. We are dedicated to your pet’s well-being, therefore a basic veterinary examination and discussion about current health problems will be carried out on all new dogs.
All grooming services above include a basic ear clean and nail trim.

Pet Spa Treatments
Treat your pet to an uplifting experience with one of our spa treatments. There are various spa treatments available for your pet to make them feel fabulous and to also help medical ailments.
All of the following treatments include a nail trim, thorough ear examination and clean, along with anal gland expression.
A luxury bubble bath using a spa comfort shampoo with an in-bath massage. The aromatherapy effects of the lavender and oatmeal relieve stress, and the properties of the hydro-bath results in relaxed muscles.
Finished with a nourishing conditioner that leaves the coat revitilised, full and strong.
A very relaxing dead-sea mud bath treatment that strengthens the skin's immune system and prevents broken hairs. Massaging the treatment into the skin helps with blood circulation and deeply cleanses the coat resulting in a long-lasting fragrance-free result.
This treatment is suitable for the sporty or elderly dog, especially those suffering from muscular pain. Your pet will relax for 30 minutes in a dead-sea-salt bath whilst having their muscles stimulated. They will leave smelling beautiful and feeling fantastic.
Using the finest and most sensitive products, your baby will experience their first spa treatment to get them used to the grooming salon. An invigorating wash and dry using luxury spa products and a light brush and trim (suitable
for under 6 months).
Includes the sporty pup spa treatment and a session of acupuncture to stimulate muscles and help combat pain. Ideal for arthritic dogs and those recovering from surgery.
A nail clip and tidy up of hair around the pads, followed by a calm, revitilising paw treatment containing vanilla and milk thistle. Finally, a massage with a special paw pad protector crème or an anti-fungal cream for those with itchy, irritated feet.
Also available: express anal glands £15, nail clip £10 and ear clean £10
We also provide acupuncture treatments for all animals large and small, at a very affordable rate with amazing results.
Acupuncture can help with many conditions including arthritis, post-operative pain, hip dysplasia, muscle/aligament sprains and spasms, paralyisis and paresis. It also helps with chronic skin problems, unresolved diarrhoea and constipation, along with functional bladder problems.
This alternative therapy has been proven to reduce stress, increase well-being, boost immunity and relieve pain leading to a better quality of life.
Initially 4 sessions over 2-4 weeks are recommended. Most animals respond after the 2nd or 3rd session. An honest opinion will be given as to whether your pet is likely to benefit from the effects of acupuncture.
£35.00 - First consultation and treatment
£30.00 - Follow up treatments. (Per session).

Doggy Day Care
With day care at Animal Love our aim is to make things as relaxing as possible for your dog.
They will have plenty of play time in our large garden, most likely go out on a walk with our other dogs and then have time to relax in the lounge in front of our cosy fire.
We don’t have any crates, cages or kennels here at Animal Love, meaning your dog can wander around, play and be comfortable in a home from home environment.
Drop off times start from 6am and pick up can be as late in the evening as you need, if pre-arranged.
Prices from £15
Here at Animal Love we understand it can be very stressful for some cats staying at a cattery.
We offer a home visit service so your cat doesn’t need to leave the comfort of their own home whilst you’re away. We can visit your home once or twice a day to feed your cat and give it plenty of cuddles and tickles!
Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements
